A Cooperative Nursery School benefits children and parents: parents become "assistant teachers" (approx. one day a month) as they observe an experienced and certified early childhood teacher guide childrens preschool learning experiences, parents enrich their "parenting skills" as they observe and interact with children who are developing their "learning-to-learn skills" through a carefully planned preschool curriculum, children gain valuable personal, social, and cognitive/intellectual skills as they interact with other children in the group, and with parents other than their own, all under the careful and respectful guidance of the nursery school teacher. Program Hours: School year: September - May 9:00 - 11:30 Tues & Thurs for 3-year-olds 9:00 - 11:30 Mon, Wed & Fri for 4-year-olds
