To all considering this daycare for your child, please DO NOT choose this place. I went here for two years, and it was a terrible experience. I have mental health issues from it today. Charlotte would yell at children for doing small things. For example, I looked into her son's room, and she screamed at me and grabbed my arm tightly just for looking in there. She gave me a chew-able tablet once because I felt bad, but I don't think she asked my parents first. She would curse in front of the kids, and I think she would smoke inside, too. When her back was hurting, she would make kids step on it. The age range of the kids was around 0-6 years of age, so we just did what she said to do. Charlotte's mother, who is now in a retirement home, was even worse. When someone said something she considered "bad", she would wash their mouth out with soap. This was not an empty threat either. If she saw a child doing something she thought was "bad", (even if it wasn't very bad), she would hit them with a wooden spoon she kept with her at all times. Every time I refer to "Nanny" from now on, I'm talking about Charlotte's mother. There was a time-out center right in front of Nanny's chair, where she would stare at children who were in time-out in a strange manner, like she was thinking that she would never take her eyes off of this Devil's child. During drop off and pickup time, Charlotte would put on a fake smile and personality. It was a toxic and scary environment, and unless you want your child to mentally suffer, do NOT take them here. Also, we sat on the kitchen floor to eat. We never got chairs or tables to eat on. The only "learning" we ever did was tracing letters every once in a while. Nap time was easily the best part of the day. There were sheets on the floor (bed sheets) that we slept on. Charlotte, if you are reading this, you probably know who I am. I remember everything. Please, stop smoking indoors (outdoors is fine), or doing anything that could hurt the kids or teach them things they shouldn't know at that age. If there's any evidence, I know a few people who work with the state who can revoke your license. Thank you, Anonymous
