Our mission is to create a nurturing and safe environment that develops a solid learning foundation for each child by creating experiences for children where they can learn about themselves and explore the world they live in. We understand that the hardest part about being a working parent is entrusting the care and early learning of your child to another person. Granite Start is committed to developing trusting relationships with parents by keeping open lines of communication through individualized reports about the child’s day and portfolios containing pictures, artwork, and teacher anecdotes from the child’s time in the program. Parents are invited to participate in classroom activities and encouraged to be part of the parent advisory board, which will help to shape the development of the program.
